A young girl 
with very large breasts
did her best 
to drown me.

Her father 
from his chair on the side
looked 
unmoved on.

Her mother, in a towel, 
sitting down, 
neither smiled 
nor frowned.  

A southern city, 
it was,
anti-Semitic.
