Poet

Beware

Of the righteous who show no mercy,
moral men who rejoice to condemn;

the striver who seeks your attention,
the despot whose wish is command.

Such persons deserve only pity.
Living for them is a task.

They are not equipped for enjoyment,
and forever look first to the past.
