Change

Leopards, we are told,
may not change spots,
nor can a child.

We cannot step out
of the skin we are living in,
so, replace cells daily.

And as to sin,
we adjust pertaining definitions
as we do our cells

to accommodate growth and understanding;
define as hell
the life we are already living.
