Prostitute

The sky is falling,
Alan,
let it fall,

let grey and troubled
clouds
drop like a veil
to cloak your feet
in ashes,

let it fall
like silk
slides down a woman,

put your hands against the wall
and step from clouds
the way
wives step from silk
and leave it soiled,

just leave it,

let it fall.
