Next to Godliness

If you watch a young woman moving,
you become aware
of just how crippled you've become,
that’s to say: up tight.

You're a rat in a cage: hips are tight,
even as are your lips.
Hindsight has not made you better.
Nonetheless, you cope.

Absolutely not a chance for relief.
Just for fun, let soap.
