Flying Squirrel

Cut loose
from the branch backswinging,
So hung in air
the terrestrial rabbit
come up by degrees:
earth, grasses, trees,
who dares to fling out in space
parabolic,
must decide what-of-all his senses
he most may trust
or,
despising,
loses.
